From visible remark, the PCL flocked surface was noticed to absorb gentle. The D65 gentle reflectance from the waste flock surface was 55% less than that of the naked aluminum. The flocked surface was qualitatively noticed to absorb mechanical impact by creating less noise when impacted by a falling object . This behavior is similar to that found when sheet metallic is flocked with typical sweat wicking underwear flock fibers. Quantitative measurements of vibration damping and sound absorption traits of those PCL flocked aluminum sheets were not performed in this current research.
